Projet de recherche : The involvement of Deir el-Medina craftsmen in private tombs during the early Ramesside period in Thebes.

The workmen’s village of Deir el-Medina was the dwelling for the community of craftsmen dedicated by Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs to the making and decoration of the famous tombs of the Valley of the Kings (1550-1069 BC). The project aims at studying how and according to which modalities these royal employees could be involved in projects of private tombs.
